UPEACE/US to Contribute to New Ashoka Peace Blog

Ashoka: Innovators for the Public is embarking on a concentrated effort to scale up the role of social entrepreneurship in the fields of peacebuilding and cultural tolerance. In their exploration of the state of the field and the contribution Ashoka can make, it has identified a need for significantly more information and awareness about how innovation and entrepreneurship can help reduce violence around the world.

To answer this question, Ashoka has launched a new blog which will focus exclusively on the intersection of social entrepreneurship and peacebuilding. UPEACE/US Director Nick Martin has been invited to be a regular contributor to this platform. His first article deals with the emerging video games for social change movement.
