The United Nations mandated University for Peace is a world-class
institution that brings together and trains future leaders from
over 60 countres to study systemic approaches to address problems
confronting the world. It is the only University in the United
Nations system able to grant degrees in fields related to peace
and conflict studies.
UPEACE is seeking highly motivated and hard
working individuals from all over the world who are committed social change to apply to one of their ten masters programs
for the 2008-2009 academic year. Applications are due February 28th 2009.See

UPEACE invites applications from women and men who have the
equivalent of a four-year undergraduate degree (BA, BS) or similar
from an accredited college or university. Students admitted in
the past have done their undergraduate work in a variety of disciplines,
including the social and natural sciences, humanities and legal
fields. Some have an MA in related areas and are seeking supplemental
training in peace studies. Students admitted to any UPEACE MA
program must exhibit an outstanding academic record.
